Basically this vehicle employs an electric hub-less wheel configuration on 2+1 wheel drive-train. For the rear, there is a mono wide wheel, which is a drum type. It is for better power support and stable stance for the sport performance. he vehicle is constructed from 3 parts, which are the front axle, folding middle shaft and rear axle. The front and rear axle have commonly a fuel cell electric engine on the each wheel. And it is combined with the electric disk brake system. Naro: “NARROW CITY VEHICLE” is a city vehicle designed to diminish the traffic congestion and pollution in urban areas. With its narrow body, the four-wheeled Naro is able to drive through traffic congestions much in the same way as a motorcycle. The two passengers sit behind one and another in the fully enclosed body, which offers a passive safety level comparable to a small modern passenger car. The front-positioned driver however sits higher above ground level and therefore has a better view over the road.
Another enclosed motorcycle concept is in development by a European consortium, on initiative of the Technical University in Berlin, Institute for Motor Vehicles. The combined effort of trainees at Daimler Benz resulted in the F-Cell Roadster. It’s a vehicle with a delicate balance of styles and technologies spanning the history of the company, such as carbon-fiber bucket seats with hand-stitched leather covers and the distinctively styled fiberglass front section, based on the component from the Formula One racing bodies. Also the traditional steering wheel is substituted by a joystick. The F-Cell is an emission free electric vehicle that has a top speed of 25kph. Sunday driving anyone?
